Dr. Robert Salley graduated from University of Tennessee with two degrees.  In 1978 he received his bachelor degree in Animal Science, and was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine.  He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine four years later in 1981.   Dr. Salley practiced general and emergency medicine in Memphis, Tennessee from 1981 until 1984.  In 1984 Dr. Salley, in partnership, purchased the Westside Veterinary Service.  Dr. Salley headed the effort and accomplishment of gaining certification for Westside Veterinary Service by the American Animal Hospital Association.

            Dr. Salley enjoys all facets of veterinary practice, but gets his most fulfillments from being able to enhance the life of his clients through their pets.  He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Associations, Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and the Jackson Purchase Veterinary Medical Association.  He also serves on the Board of the Murray Humane Society.

            Dr. Salley and his wife Linda have two children Ben and Brooke.  They have one pet; a black poodle named “Jasmine”.  Dr. Salley enjoys spending his free time driving and learning about Corvettes. He is a member of the Memphis Corvette Club.

 

 

     

           Dr. Damon Eastwood is originally from Madisonville, Kentucky.  He attended University of Kentucky from 1988 – 1991 to full fill the pre-veterinary requirements of admission.  In 1995, he graduated from Auburn University with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).  After graduation he come to Murray, Kentucky for his preceptorship and stayed on as an associate.  Dr. Eastwood began practicing at the Warner Animal Clinic and in 1997 moved to Westside Veterinary Service.  In 1999 he became a junior partner of the practice.  Dr. Eastwood is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association, and the Jackson Purchase Veterinary Association.

Dr. Eastwood and his wife Jackie have two children Lauren and Logan.  They have a Dalmatian name “Derby”.  Dr. Eastwood enjoys UK basketball and NASCAR racing.

 

 

 

   

            Dr. Mike Neal is also originally from Madisonville, Kentucky.  In fact Dr. Neal and Dr. Eastwood attended the same high school.  Dr. Neal attended Murray State University for his pre-veterinary studies and then obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1995.  He practiced in Paris, Tennessee for five years before recently joining the team at Westside Veterinary Service.  Dr. Neal spends most of his time practicing large animal medicine and surgery including equine, beef, and dairy practice. 

            Dr. Neal has several Labrador Retrievers and enjoys training them in the art of retrieving.  He is an avid duck and bird hunter, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
